Best Albums of 2014

I remember another DJ once telling me that "there's probably more people making Americana music than there are listening to it." I hope that's not true but I will say that, with the sheer amount of great music coming out every year in this genre, it sure is easy to find music to play on Tupelo Honey.

I'm so grateful to both the struggling artist and the ones filling the concert halls for making our lives better. Americana music is certainly not a popular genre but if you're a fan like me, and are stirred or touched by this music, do these artists a favor: Buy an album, go see a show, download a song, buy some band schwag, support the music that you love. Ideally you'll not only be supporting the current artist but also encouraging the next wave to consider this incredible genre.

Happy 2015
