Tupelo Honey Playlist 6/23/11

I've got a couple of front runners for my choice for song of the year.

Portland based Quiet Life has been leading that list for awhile with "Cave Country." An awesome blend of punk infused alt-country.

However, a recent find might have just knocked them off that top spot. It comes from the Louisiana based Lynn Drury and her unbelievably dance-able (not a usual Americana trait) "Chemical Road."

Both tunes are worthy of anyone's playlist, check'em out and tell me what you think.
