Tupelo Honey Playlist 7/22/08

Still really loving the new one from Donna The Buffalo. Mare Wakefield's new one is pretty fun and Eliza Gilkyson's latest effort is of note (as is just about everything that incredible woman does). The obscure Sheryl Crow recording shows what I've been stating for a while: she should stop making pop and start recording americana. Of course, she'll go broke but I bet the music would be spectacular. Or, The Whale is playing at the Doug Fir in Portland next Thursday, I hope to see you there. See ya next week, ciao.
